How to Judge the good quanlity of Sulfonated asphalt/Shale inhibitor/Shale stabilizer

There are Six technical items:

1.  Moisture content. It is the guarantee of active ingredients of sulfonated asphalt indicators, but not the main indicators. It is not possible to drying off all moisture during sulfonated asphalt drying process, and it also will absorption of moisture in the process of crushing inevitably, so sulfonated asphalt containing a small amount of water is inevitable. Usually the moisture content,  %≤ 8.

2.  PH Value. PH is the guarantee of sulfonated asphalt performance indicators, not the main indicators. Usually the PH value is 8-9, it can ensure that the asphalt sulfonic acid sodium sulfonate was completely neutralized by asphalt.

3. The content of asphalt sodium sulfonate group. It is the sign of the degree of sulfonated asphalt.

4. Water soluble content.  It is main the content of byproduct sodium sulfate, then the content of sulfonic acid sodium and water.

5. Oil soluble content. It is the asphalt and colloid that not be sulfonated, then the saturated hydrocarbon and residual organic solvents.

6. HTHP. FL reducing rate. It is the main indicators of sulfonated asphalt, when using sulfonated asphalt whether indoor or outdoor, mainly see this indicator.
