The Flint water crisis is a drinking water contamination crisis in Flint, Michigan, United States that started in April 2014. After Flint changed its water source from treated Detroit Water and Sewerage Department water (which was sourced from Lake Huron as well as the Detroit River) to the Flint River (to which officials had failed to apply corrosion control treatment), its drinking water had a series of problems that culminated with lead contamination, creating a serious public health danger.
So, who should be responsible for Flint Water Crisis?
I always think, except the EPA and local government, where is the real source of the accident. This crisis told people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. With the rapid economic development, there is also more and more rivers polluted. As Cementing additives manufacturer with a strong sense of environmental protection responsibility, we should care more about the environmental protection and increase funding in production and R&D, more and more green & environmentally-friendly drilling & cementing products (sulfonated asphalt, PAAS, Gilsonite, PAC ect ) will appear on the market, contribute our own strength to a brave new world.
