Gazprom Neft opens new field in Serbia

Gazprom Neft has opened up a new field in Serbia with recoverable reserves in the order of 432000 tonnes.Naftna Industrija Srbije(NIS Oil Company,Serbia)has successfully completed drilling of exploration well Idos-X-4 in the Neogene deposits,of which Idos-Sever(Northern Idos)field has been discovered at a depth of 2268 to 2287m.
The initial flowrate obtained on well completion totalled 27.8 tonnes of hydrocarbons per day.The new field is currently in pilot development.Development drilling at Idos-Sever field is expected to begin in 2017.
