Harvey Could Drag Down Brent, Analysts Say

With U.S. crude export capacity already constrained by Tropical Storm Harvey, any long-term refinery outages could not only end up dragging WTI crude lower but also Brent, accroding to analysts at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The"weakness in WTI will encourage more U.S. crude exports and fewer imports, even briefly drag down Brent to $47/bbl,"the analysts predicted in a note Thursday.
