In Wikipedia the definition of Petroleum engineering is a field of engineering concerned with the activities related to the production of hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas. Briefly said it’s somebody who specialized in oilfield line!
Then what’s the oil drilling fluid additive? It’s something added into drilling mud with different functions to protect the rotary bit, such as: shale stabilizer, fluid loss control, viscosifer and so on.
